Agave multifilifera 'Basaseachic Falls' is a strain of the Mexican hairy century plant, Agave multifilifera. This collection hails from north Mexico's famed horticultural treasure land, Copper Canyon, where it occurs at 800' elevation near Mexico's second highest waterfall, Basaseachic Falls. For gardeners looking for winter hardiness, Copper Canyon is rated Zone 7a...one of the coldest locations in Mexico. Agave multifilifera 'Basaseachic Falls' forms an 18" tall x 2' wide solitary clump of dark green pointed leaves marked with white stripes and covered in white hairs. These seedlings are amazingly variable with regards to size and leaf banding.
