This beautiful but slowly offsetting selection of the Mexican Agave americana makes a 2' tall x 3' wide clump with each wide, blue leaf highlighted with a broadcentral stripe of white. Agave americana 'Mediopicta Alba' is often used as a specimen container plant by gardeners in colder zones. Because of the leaf layer arrangement, Agave americana 'Mediopicta Alba' is one of the few variegated agave that cannot be successfully tissue cultured.
