Agapanthus 'Blue Yonder' is a masterpiece of breeding from Oregon plantsman Steve Hottovy. This amazing lily-of-the-Nile selection produces 3' tall spikes of dense cobalt blue flowers with darker central streaks down each petal on a plant that's reliably winter hardy into Zone 5b. For us, flowering starts in mid-June. I'm not sure who will love these most...the pollinators (bumblebees) who find them irresistible or the gardeners who embrace them for their summer color.
