Epimedium pubescens 'Shaanxi Snow' is a 2021 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of a special clone of the evergreen Epimedium pubescens which we originally acquired in 2008 from Darrell Probst as the Zone 5 hardy "Shaanxi forms". We selected a single clone to introduce, which matures at 16" tall x 3' wide, with exceptional new foliage that emerges a stunning bronze, contrasting nicely with the frothy sprays of tiny white flowers. For us, flowering of Epimedium 'Shaanxi Snow' begins in early March...one of the first fairy wings to open.
