(syn: Y. carnerosana) This magnificent tree yucca from west Texas and Mexico forms a thick trunk specimen which can reach 20' tall. The bayonet-like, boat-shaped, 2' long x 2" wide, greyish green leaves clothe the top of the trunk. The primary distinction between Y. faxoniana and Y. treculeana are the cool Andy Rooney-esque eyebrow-like white hairs on the leaves of Y. faxoniana. The 3' stalks of typical white, bell-shaped flowers will eventually top the clump if you live long enough.
