    We originally got this yucca as Y. flaccida 'Blue Sentry' from our friend Roy Klehm in Chicago, who was excited to find a hardy wide leaf blue yucca. Although the plant has grown quite well and in fact has developed a nice 2' tall trunk, we aren't sure which species to attribute this to. It is most certainly not a Yucca flaccida as it was purchased, since this species is neither trunked nor hardy to Zone 5. Anyway, the research continues.
