This 2021 Plant Delights/JLBG offering of Trillium foetidissimum represents seedlings from our original plant, discovered near the town of Wakefield in Louisiana's West Feliciana Parish. This population contained some nice silver-centered plants as well as many that were much larger than typical. Our flowering-size, seed propagated plants reflect this variation. The dark purple stalks support the mottled foliage, which is a lovely foil for the dark purple upright petals in mid-March.
