Sarracenia 'June Bug' is one of the Little Bug series from the work of the late pitcher plant breeders, Larry Mellichamp and Rob Gardner. This cutie produces a mass of bright green, leaning pitchers with a helmet hood, resulting from a cross of a solid green Sarracenia jonesii and Sarracenia flava. The low-growing hybrid produces a 18" wide plant with 10" long pitchers. Just before the pitchers emerge in spring, the clumps are adorned with a brilliant show of bright red flowers.
