The vigorous Sarracenia 'Judith Hindle' is a hybrid of the yellow pitcher plant (Sarracenia flava) with the purple pitcher (Sarracenia purpurea), and then crossed with the white-top pitcher plant (Sarracenia leucophylla). The result is a plant that produces wide, 15" tall white-top pitchers with a dark raspberry overlay, that is especially prominent in the hood veining. Sarracenia 'Judith Hindle' was bred by UK sarracenia grower Alan Hindle, and subsequently named after his wife by former California Carnivore owner, Peter D’Amato. If you love pitcher plants, this stunner is a must for your collection!
