(aka: Sambucus Sunrise Surprise, Walfinb) Sambucus 'Welsh Gold', a 2013 introduction, was discovered by Alan G. Walmsley and Sarah Brooks of England as a seedling in an Elderberry trial garden in the UK town of Lisse. The compact 3' tall x 4' wide growth habit make this selection with very cut-leaf golden foliage quite unique. Average to moist garden soils are best.
