(aka: Salvia 'Balmircher') Salvia 'Mirage Cherry Red' is a 2016 release of a Salvia greggii hybrid from the plant breeders at Ball Horticulture. This heavy flowering, compact woody shrub grows to 16" tall x 2' wide, and is clothed with small fragrant green leaves, and adorned from spring thru fall with terminal clusters of cherry red flowers. Flowering slows during the heat of summer. Well drained soils and bright sun are the keys to success.
