(aka: Salvia 'Balmirrobi') Salvia 'Rose Bicolor' has been a truly outstanding introduction from the breeders at Ball Horticulture. This amazing hybrid of Salvia microphylla x greggii, forms a 2' tall x 3' wide woody clump of small, fragrant foliage, smothered with flowers, starting in late April (NC). The bicolor flowers are have rosy upper half with a large light yellow lip below. While flowering slows in the heat of summer, it picks up the pace again, usually around mid-September. This sailed through our 11 F winter in 2022/2023.
