This 1994 introduction from John Augustine of Phoenix, AZ was discovered as a white-edged sport of the Texas sage, Salvia greggii. This semi-evergreen, 3' wide bush sage has typical narrow green leaves, but with a nice white edge. In spring and fall, then sporadically during wet periods in summer, the bush is covered with brilliant scarlet-red flowers... great against the variegated foliage background.
