    For a truly spectacular show, try P. 'Blaues Meer' This P. angustifolia selection (or possibly hybrid w/P. visianii) has fuzzy dark green leaves (without spots). From the center of the clump emerge rich cobalt blue flowers on short spikes in early spring...truly indescribable. P. a. 'Blaues Meer' is a robust growing compact clumper to 18" wide... great in a woodland mass.
