Phlox bifida 'Top Notch' is a seedling selection of our US native (Wisconsin south to Tennessee) sand phlox from our friends at Arrowhead Alpines. Phlox 'Top Notch' has been a superb performer in the well-drained, sunny rock garden. The tight, compact 6" tall x 18" wide clump of needle-like green foliage is topped for us in March and April with a superb show of deeply notched icy blue flowers.
