(aka: Salvia yangii) We have been blown away by the new Perovskia 'Prime Time', a creation from Walters Garden's Hans Hansen. Compared to the older cultivars that we've grown, this is a game changer. The density of the growth and flowers, as well as its incredible vigor is nothing short of amazing. In our trials, the 2.5' tall specimen begins its show of mauvy purple spikes in early June. As with all Russian sage, good drainage and plenty of sun are the keys to success.
