This superb dwarf oxalis is a star of the spring garden. The flat (vertically challenged) rosettes of shamrock-like green foliage hug the ground making a tight slowly spreading mat. In early spring (late April in NC), the clumps are literally smothered in 1" wide brilliant rosy pink flowers. O. braziliensis makes a great groundcover under shrubs or blue flowered perennials. When the weather warms (June in NC), the plants go completely dormant until spring.
