We have never offered bee balm, not because we don't like it, but it's just too invasive. Thanks to Canada's famed Morden Experiment Station, we are bending our rule for this splendid new dwarf bee balm that tops out at a mere 15". The dark green crinkled foliage clothes the 1' tall stems, ending in early summer with compact lavender pink flower heads. It still runs, just not as fast as some of the taller varieties... in three years, expect a 3' wide clump with extremely good mildew resistance!
