Miscanthus 'Little Kitten' is a Japanese selection that came to us via plantsman Jim Waddick in 1996.Each clump form a 3' tall x 4' wide mound of narrow green foliage, topped for us, starting in early September with a 2' tall stunning floral display of pendulous purple red flowers that age to tan...a truly superb specimen and in 20 years, we've yet to see a seedling in the garden.In good soils, Miscanthus 'Little Kitten' will reach full flowering size in a single year.
