This US National Arboretum introduction (thanks to Skip March and John Creech) from Japan is considered the most beautiful miscanthus. M. 'Cabaret' has a wide white band down the center of the leaf. The late season plumes, to 7' tall, emerge a wonderful reddish-purple before changing to tan...a wonderful grower.
