Mirabilis 'Limelight' is a dazzling chartreuse yellow leaf form of the popular passalong plant, four o'clock, that's been grown commercially since the late 1800s. For us, Mirabilis jalapa 'Limelight' makes a 2' tall x 3' wide winter-deciduous patch of upright stems, clothed in lovely golden leaves. Starting in August and continuing until frost, the stalks are topped with hot neon pink, nocturnally fragrant flowers that open around 5pm and close in the morning. You can control how big your patch of Mirabilis 'Limelight' gets by how many seed you harvest.
