    This textural gem is grown primarily for its wonderful deeply lobed glaucous blue foliage on a 5' tall x 3' wide plant that adds character to any perennial border...and that's what we all like...characters in our borders. M. major only flowers when grown in zone 9-10, and then with neat racemes of reddish brown flowers.
