(aka: Maianthemum amplexicaule) Maianthemum racemosum ssp. amplexicaule is the giant west coast diploid form of the tetraploid eastern US native false Solomon's Seal. Despite being a west coast endemic, this larger, more upright subspecies has thrived for us in the southeast. Like the typical east coast form, it flowers and fruits the same, only the size is 30-50% larger.
