Lobelia 'Monet Moment' is one of the most exciting of the new cardinal flowers in decades...all thanks to master lobelia breeder Thurman Maness of Pittsboro, NC. Lobelia 'Monet Moment' boasts large terminal heads of exquisite rich-pink flowers (RHS 59C). The flowers adorn the tops of the 3' tall stems beginning in early August and continue for 3-5 weeks, delivering an extended "Monet Moment" and a hummingbird haven. Slightly moist soils are best for top performance and don't allow the overwintering rosettes to be covered in debris or mulch.
