    This is a New Zealand selection of the heat loving spanish lavender for that dry well drained spot in the garden. The upright stems, clothed with grey green needle like leaves are topped in late spring with lavender flowers that hover like a gyro-copter just above the foliage. Each plant makes a clump 3' wide.
