    Imagine a Lamium 'Beacon Silver' with a bright rose flower and you have L. 'Red Nancy'. The glistening silver heart shaped leaves (3/4" wide) with a narrow dark green border adorn this tumbling ground cover for the woodland garden. Lamiums perform best in areas of rich organic soils and average to better moisture. In mid spring (early April thru May in NC), the foliage is contrasted with cute little heads of rosy snapdragon like flowers...a great foil for underplanting hostas and ferns.
