    For a spring show in a woodland garden this can't be beaten. The quarter-sized heart-shaped silver leaves (with a green edge) form a lovely mat of foliage that is topped with cute, hooded, purple-lavender flowers in early spring. Great for underplanting larger plants in areas where the soil doesn't get too dry....prefers climates with cool summers...tends to die back slightly in our summers, but returns with a vengeance in the spring.
