K. 'Alcazar' has slightly narrower long green leaves than the early flowering forms of K. uvaria. Beginning in June and continuing into July , the sturdy 3' tall poker-like spikes are topped with 6" tall flowers, golden at the base, bursting into a bright orange at the top...fits nicely in a perennial border for a summer show.
