This has long been my favorite groundcover juniper, and one that is surprisingly hard to find. J. 'Monna' was introduced by California's Monrovia Nursery in 1978 as a sport from J. 'Arcadia'. The lacy green foliage reaches 1' in height and in 10 years can spread to 10'. If you need a different texture from Blue Rug juniper, give 'Monna' a try in your garden.
