One of our favorite St. John's Wort is the 1891 hybrid from Frances Moser Nursery. The 15" long, arching branches are laden with 1.5" long, oval green leaves, edged in white. As the season progresses, the leaf edges turn a beautiful pink. H. 'Tricolor' makes a striking addition to the well-drained, open, light shade woodland garden to use with ferns and Solomon's seal. In late summer, the branches end with bright yellow flowers...for real shock value!
