Hosta 'Green Ice' is a 2018 Plant Delights introduction that forms a 2" tall x 9" wide miniature clump. The dense, fast-offsetting clump of Hosta 'Green Ice' is composed of .5" wide x 2.5" long, pointed green leaves, topped, starting for us in late June with short stalks of medium lavender flowers. The breeding line to produce this began in 1995, and numerous crosses since include Hosta venusta, kikutii, 'Big Daddy', 'Blue Jay', and 'Dorset Blue'.
