This Roy Herold introduction is a cross of H. 'Swoosh' x H. 'Hadspen Heron'. The 18" wide clump makes a perfect rosette of long, pointed, wavy, blue-green leaves with a wide, creamy margin. In midsummer, the clump is topped with 2' tall spikes of lavender flowers. H. 'Dark Star' took top honors at the 1995 National Hosta Convention and sold at auction that year for $525!
