Hesperoyucca whipplei is a dramatic little sucker...or should I say sticker. The sturdy grey blue leaves (mini-bayonets) extend to 18" on this tight compact mound. This monocarpic yucca eventually produces a giant 12' tall flower spike of white bells (often tinted purple) before passing on to the big nursery in the sky...really cool!
