Our seeds of this endemic South Korean species were collected on our 1997 expedition to the top of Mt. Chiri at 4,800' elevation, above the tree line, growing with hostas. Our plants first flowered in early July of 1999, with 30" stalks of single, bright orange flowers. We hope you will treasure the opportunity to grow true, wild-collected daylilies.
