We are pleased to introduce our collectors' special...a new, bright gold streaked seed strain of Helleborus foetidus that first appeared here in our gardens in 1996. We have since found that a large majority of the seedlings also carries the variegated leaf trait. Not only is each dark green leaf heavily streaked yellow, but the streaking runs into the flower stem and even into the flower, creating a unique appearance in the early spring garden. As with all H. foetidus, good drainage is essential!
