We are excited to introduce our first clonal selection of the rare Hellebore croaticus, selected from our original wild seed grown plants from a Will McLewin 1993 Slovenian collection (12.1). It's taken us 27 years to have enough of the exceptionally dark purple-flowered clone to offer. Our original clump of this clone is now 10" tall x 18" wide, topped, starting late winter with very cute, small rounded flowers of dusky purple flushed with green, aging to green. We find that Helleborus croaticus thrives in very open shade to a few hours of direct sun.
