Thanks to the late Alan Galloway, Plant Delights/JLBG is able to offer very rare genetics of the lovely Pig's Butt Arum (Helicodiceros muscivorus) from Balearic Island of Majorca. These represent seed-grown plants from Alan's original collection. Compared to other genetics we've grown, these plants are much smaller, with much narrower leaves and smaller inflorescences, which open for us in mid-April. For us, plants from these genetics emerge much earlier, often in late December. Despite this early winter emergence, they have thrived for us outdoors, so far, with low winter temperatures of 11 degrees F. Our supply of these is very limited.
