    H. 'Kinkaku' is one of the most popular of all the hardy ginger lilies. From the thick rhizome in late spring, tall spikes of pointed green leaves emerge...eventually to 6'. In late summer, the clumps are topped with cones of peachy salmon flowers with a darker orange lip. The fragrance from the flowers is strongest in late afternoon...locate gingers near a window or your favorite seat in the garden.
