    This wonderful species of hardy ginger lily is renowned for it's large head size...sort of like some professional athletes. Each 18" tall flower spike is smothered with small dark peachy orange flowers with a very dark orange center. Each flower opens at the same time, creating quite a show. H. coccineum reblooms continuously from late summer thru early fall.
