Habranthus magnoi is an Argentine native rain lily that has thrived for us in Zone 7b since 2003. The foliage of Habranthus magnoi is quite short and insignificant, but a few days after each rain, during the June - August flowering season, the short flower spikes emerge overnight with blush pink outer petals, which open up as a pure white, upward facing floral show. Habranthus magnoi is quite stunning in flower and easy to grow in sunny, average to dry soils.
