(aka: Homoglad) Gladiolus 'Peachy Cheeks' is a 2019 introduction in our series of dwarf, early spring flowering, thread-leaf Gladiolus tristis hybrids. Gladiolus 'Peachy Cheeks' emerges for us in mid-October with thin, grass-like foliage that persists all winter if the weather conditions allow. Starting for us around tax day, the 2' tall flowering stalks emerge, adorned with a mass of soft pink flowers, each highlighted by a bright red stripe starting at the petal tip that morphs to yellow as it gets closer to the throat. Gladiolus 'Peachy Cheeks' is truly an early spring flowering machine. By June, it's gone underground to rest until the following year.
