    The lovely G. 'Terra Franche' is one of the new European hybrids that are just reaching the US shores. This 15" tall x 18" wide clumper is composed of fuzzy grey-green quilted leaves, topped in late spring and early summer with large blue-violet flowers. G. 'Terra Franche' is very similar to another G. renardii hybrid...the popular favorite G. 'Phillipe Vapelle' but reportedly more heat tolerant...a perfect rock garden plant.
