    This sterile hybrid G. ibericum x G. platypetalum) is a very showy and long sought-after perennial geranium. G. 'Magnificum' offers up intense blue-violet flowers with red veins...like your eyes after looking at too many of these, on tall wiry stems in late spring to early summer. The hairy snowflake shaped foliage clothe the 2' wide clumps, often picking up a red coloration in fall. Magnificent...don't make me say any more!
