From Auckland comes this new hybrid geranium (G. dalmaticum x G. macrorrhizum 'Album'). The thick bold foliage was donated by the macrorrhizum parent, and gives a ground hugging effect similar to G. 'Biokovo'. Flowers produced in late spring are pure white aging to russety pink. Great under the dappled shade of a small tree or limbed-up shrub, the foliage may remain evergreen through a mild winter. We are not exactly sure what saintly acts can be attributed to this perennial, but it sure is lovely and easy to grow!
