The striking chartreuse foliage of this hardy cranesbill displays its abundant magenta flowers in late spring to retina damaging effect. From Reverand Folkard of the UK, this early 1970's hybrid has gained a large following in European gardens for its ability to clamber through small shrubs and over unruly kids. Place this sturdy perennial against blue foliaged plants for foliar combos sure to garner oohs and aahs from jealous garden pals. The parents of this lovely hybrid include the sprawling G. procurrens and the Armenian G. psilostemon, which donates the dramatic black eye to each of the magenta flowers.
