This nice David Tristam selection of the US native Gaura lindheimeri makes a nice, compact deer resistant mound with a stunning array of white butterfly-shaped flowers from late spring through early summer. Gaura is very tolerant of all but soggy, moist soils. It's a shame the name doesn't match the beauty of the plant.
