Festuca glauca 'Golden Toupee'

The latest example of nature imitating art is a fabulous new ornamental grass selection, resembling what you might expect to find on the head of a young alternative rocker. Just as blue fescue forms a 1' wide soft porcupine like clump, F. 'Golden Toupee' does the same except that the thin grass blades are a nice chartreuse color. F. 'Golden Toupee' is going to be one of those fabulous blending plants for the color minded designer. As with all F. glauca selections, good drainage is essential.
