    This is the rarely offered Asian version of our joe pye weed. This small grower to 4' has narrow leaves on the upward growing stems. In late summer, the stems are topped with small vivid purple heads...a great plant to blend into the perennial border for late season color...spreads slowly, even in our sandy soils!
