(syn: E. NA White) This 2000 Darrell Probst introduction originated as a seedling at the US National Arboretum. E. 'White Star' is a much-improved version of the popular E. x youngianum 'Niveum'. This vigorous, evergreen grower with dainty foliage is topped in early spring with sprays of small white bells. Epimedium 'White Star' makes a superb little clumper for a precious spot in the woodland garden.
