If you have been looking for an evergreen ground cover for a particularly bad site, help is at hand. This new form of the rare E. pauciflorum, makes a vigorously spreading 8" tall groundcover for the worst of sites. The small, rounded, softly spined foliage is topped in spring with stalks of lavender flowers held just above foliage. For us, it will often rebloom in the summer, usually following rains.
